From drawing, painting, sculpting, and prop making, Nick has always been interested in creating something out of nothing.
During the summer of 2002 filmmaking entered that extensive list and since then has been his main focus. The result has been writing, directing, producing, and editing over 25 film projects.
Nick attended Western Washington University where we earned a bachelors degree in English with a focus on creative writing. During this time he was a member of the on-campus television station, KVIK, where he took part in both producing numerous short films for the sketch comedy show “You Would” and news segments for the news program “VTV”, where he also served as executive producer for a term.
During this period he took a leadership position in the organization and helped organize and teach many workshops focused on the numerous aspects of film production. He also established the first filmmaker collective in the organization dubbed, "Electric Shadow Shorts" which was dedicated to providing a place for filmmakers to gather and collaborate with each other on their projects and share their appreciation of film.
Currently, Nick has relocated to Los Angeles, California where he is pursuing a career in themed entertainment design.
In his spare time he enjoys slow hikes, fast runs, and eating cans of pineapple.
